You mean a Waste Heat Recovery Boiler installed on exhausts of Generators/Turbines to produce steam/hot water? They do not have burners! Unless, on combi-system where you have a burner for supplement fuel-firing.

You mean the " Soda Recovery Boiler ". You have the Black-liquor Burner spraying on the boiler combustion walls and they dry n chip off to burn as fuel. Afterwards soda is recovered. They have supplementary furnace-oil fired burner to start firing when the black liquor-burner needs cleaning. Is this what you are referring to?

Sorry as editorgbanalysts in #5 wrote - you need to spend the rest of your life to study this system of PLC for operating the furnace oil Burner and many instruments to know about all functions of instruments.Suggest you first get a book to study Oil burners and set of controls for burner operation and then you study selection & application. After you master this then you join classes to study PLC. Upon completion of this study you will understand even better to teach anybody.

Is the sprayer (burner) in the saturated or superheat furnace or have I missed something in translation, somewhere along the line????
