Loop Table in a Cut-to-Length Machine

12/30/2008 1:31 AM

What is the function of a loop table in a cut to length machine? Where is it to be positioned, before leveler or after leveller?

Welcome Kishoreholla,

Loop table is provided to accomodate any mismatch in the line speeds of different stations of the whole machine. It also acts as accumulator during the cut-off operation. Technically, it should be placed before the leveller.
