What is the voltage? 3 phase I hope? 30000 watts is a lot of power to send over 300 meters.

Please state the type of lighting. Is it resistive, or is it driven with transformers such as high pressure sodium etc.?

This will be needed because the power factor then becomes an issue.

Are we talking of 100W fixtures or 1000W fixtures. Also state the kind/ type of fixture being used.

British Standard 7671 gives details, and it can be purchased from the British Standards Institution.
