Maximum starts per hour for HT motors.

Hello Everybody.Please assist with information relating to the maximum number of starts that a HT motor (>1000KW,11 KV) should have in an hour.The motor is started by a Liquid Resistance Starter.

Your assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Only the motor manufacturer can answer that, and only in the context of the specifics of your application, i.e. load inertia, acceleration time etc. There is no "standard" formula in motor designs that large.
