nokia 5200 showing Local mode

my, nokia 5200 is showing local mode on inserting Battery and not working properly. plz help me what can i do?

The first thing to do is to check your Sim card. It may not be inserted (correctly) or not seated properly.

i chk all the things, when i fix the battery it directly showing local mode

Ankur,

I think you are from India. I also had problem with Nokia, its battery will drain off very fast.Unfortunately in India Nokia is dumping all cell phones mfd. in China which always has one or other problems. If you visit their service shop you will find huge crowd and you have to wait for long hours to get your cell serviced.Better approach them.
