Or you can just take the easy way out. I recall a few years back when a hurricane was targeting the Alabama coast line, that Neal Boortz out of an Atlanta radio station reported that in Montgomery they were putting the wheels back on the governor's mansion and towing it up north...

You should take care to distribute the blocks evenly under the trailer.

Under no circumstances should you stack all eight blocks on top of each other and attempt to set the trailer on them. You will find this configuration very unstable.

Good Luck!

Calculate as a building with three forces from windward, roof and leeward exposure.

There are many factors involved. My advise is to review the ASCE minimum design loads standard (check scribd www.scribd.com/doc/5477173/ASCE-705-Minimum-Design-Loads-for-Buildings-and-Other-Structures - 977k)

If you have considerable space between the ground and the trailer you should also consider uplift effect.

Hello there; I tried to copy paste detailed formulae and procedure to calcualte Wind Loads on small buildings, in your case its a trailer, however this forum does not seems to accept mathcad calculations formule. Please send me an email, if you are using mathcad then it will be easier or else I shall put it in PDF for you to refer it based on ASCE-7-93 Standard. You can send me email at Mohammed.fareeduddin@ericsson.com or at fareed_siddique@yahoo.com
