Giving you elementry like: 4" pipe & 2" insulation : 2" + 4" + 2" = 8" x 3.142/12 = 2.0 Sft x length = Total Sft. similarly work out your own.

Need to have idea, how to select proper thickness of insulation on say steam/ hot water pipe to avoid critical thickness values
