I would like to know that the gas consumption of thermal fryer,we have installed only gas pressure & temprature meter on our plant,the require temprature is 280 degree celsious and gas pressure was 1 mbar.

Company does't want to install a gas meter

Kindly calculate how much gas consumed in cu meter per hour.

Are you aware that the gas consumption to attain a temperature is dependant on how many factors ?

thermal fryer - Ask the manufacturer to give you the Gas-train drawings and gas consumption/ go to a similar installation and ask them.

I understood 280 C and 1 mbar is the condition at combustion in the frier temp, not the feed gas.you may have flow meter on the supply line where pressure may be higher and temp close to ambient.You may install differential pressure primay device (orifice plate,nozzle,pitot)and multivariable transmitter measuring three inputs i.e Differentail pressure,temperature,static pressure.then configure multivariable flow transmitter in normal cubic meter or standard cobic meter or and other unit for volume or mass flow rates. emerson ,yokogawa and many more manufacturer can supply tx and primary device.u have to supply line size,max / min pressure,temp,flow,stream ,acceptable pressure drop.
