This all depends on you. The basics you learn in either will apply to both but the specifics will not. I studied both and find I use more electronics theory even though I work as a EE. I think it is easier to understand the larger electrical circuits when I design them as I would electronic circuits.

Dear Friend ,

Job satisfaction is more important than job opportunity or payment. probably you may get better paid if you go for computer science. But many engineers get slogged after writing codes for some years.then there is no thrill it become monotonous unless you are into some research and development of embedded technology, VLSI technology , or robotics one will not like it. Similarly Electronics if you like it you may go for it But given an option I will prefer Electrical Engineering because I like the subject and the scope of development is wide open. No electrical engineer can exist with out good back ground of electronics and computer science.so even after you specialise in one field, you have to become master on other subjects also even though you may not take regular course at collage.
