according to Mr. SB priceless counsel I will recommend to make personally a choice for the safty you want to achieve.

Opposite to the SB counsel I would suggest you make a choice of at least "1" taking in to account what you want to do with the 2 components.

My comment was so short since to describe the design you asked for I would have had to write a book and since there are already so many good and very good books on gear design I do not dare to compete with those excellent authors as Niemann, Buckingham, Henriot and others.
