About 3 months ago, all of the Newsletters I subscribe to at Global Spec started coming through in plain text instead of HTML and if I click on any link, I am taken to "page not found message".
I tried every tweak I could think of to no avail and just started deleting immediately figuring it was a typical MS thing and would go away as it had before, after updates. But is hasn't yet.
Yesterday I was talking to a rep in one of our Federal Government Agencies and a form I was to download on their site caused the same error message when I put the link in the address bar, not a search engine. After 3 attempts, I was advised that IE7 does not like a lot of direct links used by the Government Agencies and only previous versions of IE7 and most of the time other browsers.
First, I have tried the other browsers and they are too cute, huggy, and warm fuzzy for me.
So, any suggestions on what to do?
