Does SIL-2 level requires third party certificate?

Hai,

Does SIL-2 leve; required third party certificates from Exida or TUV?

Some of the process Industries requesting for Self cerrtification for PFD values for SIL2?

Can it possible to provide Self certificate by the manufacturer?

Hi

If you mean that every one determine his plant required SIL I think this doesn't need any third party rather than expert people and accurate calculation not to cost your company over cost or under-size the system to low level of SIL which will lead to SIS system doesn't over achieve RRF

If you mean that the system purposed I think yes it should be certified

waiting for clarification

Any SIL certificate is not worth the paper it's printed on unless it is accompanied by a copy of the report!
