I would go with industry standard ZigBee technology:

IEEE 802.15.4 and ZigBee technologies.

Visit Freescale's URL: http://www.freescale.com/files/abstract/misc/ZIGBEE.html

They sell pressure sensors with ZigBee built-in, and PC's can read the results over a wireless transmission.

You can use out-of-box products, for example from MOXA

What sort of distance are we talking? Zigbee or Bluetooth for a few meters...? WiFi for 100 meters? Microwave for several kilometers? Satellite communications for from your location to mine?

What sort of data rate? 4-20 ma source?

We really need more info before we can even begin.

Thank you

Bill

Many thanks for your inquiry, It's a pleasure to communicate with you to take the best solution ,

This circuit for monotring the pressure and temprature and other analog reading for a petroleum station so

the distanceis not more 10 km , and the device will attached with antenna to transmit the signal to control room then we can take reading and register in database to monotring and tracking

Thanks again for your interest

OK...

Next question is "Where are you?". Alot is going to depend on what country you are in, and what regulations you have to abide with. Also what is the terrain we are talking about? Is it all line of sight? Are there mountains in the way? DO YOU HAVE ONE SENSOR OR MANY?

Is it all line of sight? Are there mountains in the way? Do you have one sensor or many to monitor? You may have to get someone locally who is familiar with your national regulations and can see the landscape.

I tend to think a VHF (150 MHz) or UHF (450 MHz) link, but I can't say for sure.

Bill

I had to reboot... so sorry for the duplication.

PS It is NOT a "do it yourself" project.
