The working principle of back pressure turbo generator is same as normal steam turbine power plant.

The basic difference is in the expansion of the steam is not complete to the level of condenser. But steam expansion is up to the pressure level of steam required for the process.Normally from 4 KG/cm2G to 10 Kg/cm2G.The total energy of steam is utilized. Thus thermodynamically it is an efficient way of power production and supply of steam to the process.

Dear Friend,

The working Principle of Back Pressure Turbine is:

"A COMMON MEDIUM WHICH SERVES TWO PURPOSE - TO GENERATE POWER and FULL FILL THE PROCESS HEAT REQUIREMENT" thus to achieve EFFECTIVE UTILISATION OF HEAT."
