We do forward several emails that we get from people and I'm sure that most of them are fine, but apparently some bad stuff is slipping thru the system and we are noticing it. At present we have one, supposedly from Newsmax.com that will not open up and in fact lockes up the whole computer. The only way to shut it down is to use the rocker switch on our power strip that the PC is plugged into. Upon a slow restart everything seems to be okay and have not lost anything. I cannot delete this email or even move it to anywhere out of the way or someplace else where it could be deleted. As soon as it is clicked on or selected everything locks up and I need to use the rocker switch to shut down and then restart. My Norton AntiVirus does not clear it up and it is up-to-date. We use Outlook Express for our Email. Windows XP Home edition is our driver (if that is what it's called). I am not a tech but I can follow clear instructions. Any help will be greatly appreciated. We can stear clear of it and have no problems but it is there and I want it gone. Thank you.
