Video card

03/14/2009 10:34 AM

Hi

I have a ATI FireGL V3300, which has a VGA, DVI and S-video port. I use the VGA for my defult monitor, but was wondering, if I was to put another monitor onto it, is it either the DVI or the S-video?

Thanks

Bondy111

That card may not support dual monitors, most that do will have two of the same port, ie. 2 DVI ports. Go into your catalyst control center and see if it has a monitor 1, monitor 2 selection, and options for dual monitors.

When I right click the desktop, click properties - settings, it comes up with a second monitor (which is currently not enabled)

Hello Bondy111,

This card is indeed a double header enabling use of multiple displays.

the card has dual VGA analog support with DVI-VGA adapter or use the dual DVI ports.

Use S-Video for analog TV out

BTW, I started a new thread at Software & Programming inspired by your comment on the anti-virus thing.
