I have a 2 stage industrial cylinder regulator that's not attached to the cylinder but downstream. I also have a space problem with the factory outlet and gage configuration. So I switched (low pressure side) the relief rupture valve with the low psi outlet from the factory. Now I have a huge volume of gas moving and freezing.
My question is; Is the orifice for the pressure relief (rupture disc) larger than the normal (factory) low pressure outlet provided by the factory? I think it is. Just looking for a confirmation.
I've asked the factory (Western) but they're hesitant to answer.
Thanks for any help.
