Air Blast Circuit Breakers

TYpical rating of ABCB (Air Blast Circuit Breaker) are ;12kV 40kA, 22kV 40kA, 145kV 40kA, 245kV 40kA&50kA, 420kV 40kA;50kA;63.5kA.

For 125A, why should ABCB? As you know, when you utilize ABCB you will need a high pressure compress air 20kg/cm2 to 150kg/cm2 for the arc quenching media depend on its rating, thus you have to build a compress air plant, it's a such much expensive cost to spend.

For 125A I suggest you to utilize either MCCB or ACB. Or when its medium voltage say 20kV 125A you are free to VCB (Vacuum Circuit Breaker). Many manufacturer provide those goods.

not from siemens, the smallest air blast cb is 630A.

Hope you want to know whether 125 Amps Air circuit breaker (ACB) is available in the market. It is available.

Air blast circuit breaker (ABCB) is not available in small ampere capacity i.e.125 amps.

Thanks for your suggestions. I m a fresher in the company which is developing a hydro power plant and i m very much thankfull for your co-operation. i was actually looking for "Balance Of Plants". We are suggested to use MCCB's but we have to use this circuit breaker with D.G set in the power house thats why we r looking for acb's.

There are so many companies makes ACB from 80A to 8000A at L.T 600V, I'm working with Terasaki form japan, we're distributor in all over Pakistan. if you need, so conact me. why you need lower range ACB, this is so expancive, i give you ida you will purchase MCCB for 125A this is 10 time lower price than ACB.
