Syntron Vibrators

03/24/2009 12:32 AM

I like to get some info on syntron vibrator. It's a vibrating tub that moves parts to an automatic assembly machine.

How to make one, who makes them , where to buy it .

Any info is appreciated.

Here is a discussion on vibratory feeders, and how they work. CR4 is your friend too!

Thank you all for your input but my initial question about a moving part syntron is not quit correct. Syntron came to mind because it vibrates. All I want to do is,mount some kind a vibrator to a 12 or 16 in dia disk mounted on some kind of base, table, tripod --.I opened all the e-mails that where offered .

They use Syntron feeders in asphalt batch plants, in the aggregate cold feed systems. They are mounted on the bottom plate near the exit spout of the fine aggregate hoppers in the cold feed. This prevents "bridging" of the material at the exit of the hopper and allows a uniform feed to the belt conveyor. This application is physically similar to yours in that the vibrating device is mounted on a plate. A supplier of asphalt batch plants and equipment can locate one.

Can you please expound? Do you want the disk to vibrate, or is the disk just a base for the vibrator? Are any piece-parts to be moved?

If you give us a full explanation of what you want to do, you're much more likely to get a suitable answer. Someone may even come up with a simpler & more cost-effective way of getting the effect you want.

John DJ.

I thought I made it clear. All I want is to shake a disk horizontally that is mounted on springs. Now you ask how thick is the disk, 1/2 to 5/8 in can be made of , wood, aluminium or plastic.

The question is.

What type and size is sufficient to shake this disk when the vibrator is mounted on the side of the disk. It will NOT be used to move any parts.

Did you want it to vibrate linearly or rotationally?

How far do you want it to vibrate and at what frequency?
