Audio Engineering.

It might be nice for all of us out here who enjoy Sound Engineering / Recording to have a user group. It can go hand in hand with the more general "Musician" category. Sometimes it would be nice to share ideas and experience with fellow audio guru's. And in todays hyper-connected world who knows, maybe music projects can take form between members.

There's already an Acoustical Engineering group within Engineering Fields. I know it's not the same thing, but would it suffice?

If you have any problem at sound recording or equipment. I may be help with it.

If you need measure your room acoustic condition. I can offer you a pink noise signal and some other standard signals.

Hi there, I've just gotten around to doing something about the demise of fine analog audio. Being an audio nut, I fear the total demise of analog sound in favor of digital. I'm sure as you know, analog sound is superior to digital sound. Digital sound has pretty much replaced analog sound in the name of "progress", analog being "old fashioned" and should be laid to rest once and for good. I support analog sound as once produced as tapes and vinyl records. CD's and other digital media may sound like the right path, but so much is lost in sound quality.

I'm hoping there will be a movement to push analog sound back into the light of day. many of the new generation have never witnessed a fine vinyl recording or tape, so they have no reference point to judge sound. Good reproduced sound should be treated as an art and not left by the wayside of history.
