Rectifier Chargers for Lead Acid Batteries

03/27/2009 2:50 AM

Does anyone know how much roughly does it cost to install a complete set of rectifier charger that can give 110Vdc 10A output using sealed lead acid batteries? I need the figure to write CAPEX.

Give us an address, Guv, and I'll send the boys round to do it. Cash on the nail, OK? <Splutter>

No address, no location did you seriously think others will do your market research for you ?

You could have searched the globalspec (yes there is a site with that name), queried your specifications, and from the probable sites got the quotations/ asked the probable suppliers for it.

For all it is worth, you may be in antarctic.

fyi, i did sent emails to suppliers asking for quotation. but after a week over i still not received any quotation from them. What i got from them is that they will come back to me with the quotation ASAP. Perhaps they need more time to do that.

i raised a question here in CR4 just to get info from you guys. Because i believed that some of you might have the experience buying and install rectifier charger can share the info here

The overall cost of the solution depends on the size of the batteries required based on the back-up time required for the load.

In case it is for VCB, the break-up will be as follows :

122 V DC, 10 A Isolated CVCC Charger with 230 V +- 15% , 47-53 Hz Input, Battery Under Voltage Protection at 95 V DC = US$ 2500

OR

122 V DC, 10 A Isolated CVCC Charger with 115 V +- 15% , 57-63 Hz Input, Battery Under Voltage Protection at 95 V DC = US$ 3000

9 No. 12 V, 17 Ah Sealed Lead Acid Batteries pack (Nominal DC = 108 V) @ US$ 700

Needless to say, your end-application-equipment drawing DC power from this arrangement should be able to work over the DC Range of 90 V DC to 130 V DC

The prices are indicative only and exclude any additional duties, logistics costs, levies etc. which might be applicable in different countries..

Hey guys, not a guest, and he did ask, "Roughly". Don't think that is out of bounds among friends.
