right way to installtion of level transmitter?

we have 3-nos transmiter in deaerator but previously all 3 nos, was in one floor below the deaerator floor ,on that time high presure side was connected to high side of trasmittter and low presure side was conected to low side transmitter after that we kept level transmitter in same floor of the deaerator then 2nos showing right value and 1 no.showing wrong value when we changed the connection of transmitter with tapping point of deaerator(ie high pressure side conected to low side of transmitter and low pressure side is connected to hide of transmitter).

so suggest me that what are right procedure to install a level transmitter in power plant?

A level transmitter is simply a pressure transmitter with a zero level as a reference, so high pressure should be at the lowest point in the fluid column and low pressure (or reference level) should be above the maximum fluid level.

High side always connects to highest pressure.(below level of liquid in tank)>Low side,reference, is always connected to a level above the highest expected level in the tank.This in effect, cancels out the ambient pressure of the tank,transmits only the difference, which is liquid level.

If the previous installation had the actual level transmitter piped to the tank, and was lower than the tank, and the new installation of the transmitter is at a higher level, recalibration will be required, due to the offset in head pressure.

does the xmtr is capillary seal type .Can you specify the type of xmtr .

No-one in his right mind will specify a transmitter for you if you do not give them the needed process data.
