Old Worms, New Worms: NEERIS and Conficker

04/06/2009 10:07 PM

According to Mador and Putnam MS Malware Protection Center,

NEERIS is back using the same vulnerability as Conficker did late 2008 and including early 2009; MS08-067 via 'autorun'.

There is speculation NEERIS and Conficker authors may be in cahoots...

these guys ought to become CR4 members. then they can channel their energy and spend their time helping others rather than wreaking havoc or making people's lives miserable.

If you had an older model DVD R /RW player in your computer. Did you feel like you were hacked or given a bug when the update ran that prevented you from playing DVD's on your computer. The update was to prevent the copying of DVD's.

$14.00 to restore the DVD players function.
