Can any one help to explain following query-

I have read on name plate of one of the vessel

Design Pressure -External- 101.325 KPAG /Full Vacuum

Means vessel is design for full vacuum Inside or full vacuum out side ?

Full Vacuum means on the inside. Note that 101.325 kPa is equal to one atmosphere, so that when the internal is under full vacuum there is atmospheric pressure pushing inwards.

If it were full vacuum on the outside of the vessel - that would translate into an internal gage pressure.

You have to mention what kind of your tank , this to receipt a definite answer

anyway i think your tank is for liquid compressed gas like liquid oxygen tank .

these tanks are almost double walled tanks . space in between are fully vacuumed , this to prevent out side heat from accessing into the inner tank, if out side heat access to inner tank it will cause to expand trapped gas resulting v high pressure , tank may be exploded if not equipped with over pressure safety devices

101 KPa is atmospheric pressure it mean that tank should be placed in atmospheric free space.
