Logitech software removal

04/11/2009 3:43 PM

I was recently using a Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse but have since switched to another product. The problem I am having now is that the sofware will not uninstall from my system. When I go through add/remove programs I always get an error message that says "setup.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close" I have tried every way I can think of to remove this but with no success. I do not have the install cds any longer. The offending programs are Logitech desktop messenger and Logitech selfpoint.

Any help here would be wonderful.

Thanks

I am not sure what OS your computer uses but RemoveIt sometimes does the trick, and it is free

Uninstall it and clean up the leftovers then run CCleaner.
