finding conficker

CBS news just reported on the Conficker worm...but I missed the part about what URL to request as part of determining whether a system is infected. Did anyone here get the complete message?

Go here (yes I know its in German, but the Conflicker Avert Stinger Program from McAfee is all in English) :-)

Click on:- "zum Download" first, then on:-"Download-Server Chip Online". After a short pause, you will be offered a program to save or run, save it.

Run it later.....

It searches through your whole PC looking for the Virus....Takes a long time on slow PCs with large hard disk(s)......so let it run overnight is usually best!!

This program will find and erase any copies of that worm virus.....

If you downloaded the Free tool Microsoft Windows Defender, it gets updated for the conficker worm and then searches and cleans your machine.

Note to all, a new Conflicker Virus is on the way that needs even LESS help from the PC owner to get active......be warned.
