04/20/2009 6:18 AM

Whether end connections of Reducing Tee (50x50x40) are

-All ends flanged or

- Two ends BW & one as SW.

Pl. provide a valid reason for any option.

Class is 150#, MOC – SS A403WP304/304L, 10S, Safety Shower &

drinking water.

Thanx

Well, I'd look up the piping standard for that service. I can sell you one if you ain't got none. <Splutter>

Does the pipe piece have to disassembled at any time? Such a criterion would preclude the use of welding.

You can go for BW/SW as thenmediyum is not hazardous and moreoever the safety shower and the drinking water is not going to be used frquently in site unless & until there is a maintenance. So I prefer using the aobe connection as the best suited. Also the cost wise flanges would be expensive for this safety shower use.
