Re-Using Exhaust Pressure

04/22/2009 10:05 AM

Dear sir,

1.How can we use the exhaust pr. can we connect this to the Receiver tank,or to connect back to the line by using NRV , because in line pr. is more than this exhaust pr.

2. If the compressor delivery line immersed in a water for some distance (about 1 or 2 mtr. length) what will be the effect on the compressor, power consumption ? (Water will be circulating)

3. Is there any special type of Spray nozzle which will consume less air and hence power?

Please suggest me an usefull method for the above as early as possible

Thanking you

  • What is the fluid?
  • What is its temperature?
  • What is its pressure?
  • What is the intent of this process?

Dear sir,

It is one of the system which sprays starch liquid with the help of Air at a pressure of 6 kg/sq.cm.(normal temp.) It is being used in the duplex paper manufacturing unit, the purpose of this system is to bond the paper layer.

We want to reduse the power consumption of the compressor by doing some thing to this spry nozzal system(nozzel dia. is 0.4mm ,8nos. in one set of system), is there any special type of nozzal which consumes less air to do so ?

Now the approximate air consumption is about 70scfm , With existing nozzal we can't reduse the Pr. due to improper spraying of the Starch which effects on paper qlty.

Please suggest the best one which reduse the power as well as air consumption.

Thanking you
