After aligning the column to -700mm elevation the top of the rail is not at 10.78m.Will there be a large error in verticality of column.how can i correct the problem.
You have grouted/ welded the beam (11.48m long) at -0.7 level
Now the top edge is not at 10.48 level
The error in the verticality is a pure geometry. Assuming your column is straight.
Whether it is acceptable or not is your design.
Correction of the problem is even simpler - but would have been done before the welding/ grouting. But it all depends on the material of column (hopefully not concrete) and the joint at the foundation.
Else like pisa you have to leave it (and pray nobody knows)
