Fire Sprinkler System

05/01/2009 3:14 AM

Can anyone advise me on how much space is needed to house a 150 dia Fire Sprinkler Control valve and all its associated devices. What about a 150 dia Pre-Action Type. Is it going to be the same? Can a small area requiring a pre-action sprinkler system be connected to the main Wet-Sprinkler system like a tail-end connection?

The manufacturers of such valves are happy to give full dimensions of them for design puposes, particularly if a sale might be forthcoming later. It might be best to ring a couple of them?

Consult a licensed qualified fire protection company. If you cannot afford to lose, then don't gamble. They are certified and licensed for a reason.SAFETY!Do not rely on ad-hoc advice for a life-dependent situation.
