what kind of defect making ELCB TRIPING?

What do you mean by defect ? do you want to know about the neusance tripping by elcb ? may be due to humid weather conditions
or some electric leakege type of fault , that truely should trip the electric line by elcb?

first, you can check your elcb setting..if ur elcb was set too low, ur equipment will be very sensitive.. small leakage smay contribute to tripping....second, you can check ur polarity of zero CT or CBCT....make sure polarity of those CT is correct.
