Try "shafir production systems" in israel (www.shafir.co.il)

they did a similar application for rolls-royce: http://www.shafir.co.il/project.asp?id=33

There is a company in the UK called Metabo who currently produce theses types of machines,

Another company in my group has purchsed a entry level model to polish Forged Steam Compressior Blades and from what I have seen it semms to work, I think I am right in saying that the base level unit cannont polish L/E's or T/E's and it certailny cannot get into fillet rad's but body of the blades look significantly neater when polished on this machine than by the usual method of a guy with a Dyna Belter.

Having said that I recently heard that Metabo have improved the latest model and it is able to carry out all the necessary functions (L/E, T/E Fillet rad's etc) as well as being able to compare the compnent to the cad model to determine Material condition and carry out localised stock removal.

Hop this helps

Hi,

Try calling DWFritz Automation at 503-598-9393. They do custom integration for all kinds of automation projects that use robotics, machine vision, and precision technologies.
