cable size calculation

Dear, All

with cable size how to calculate the current, without using the current carrying capacity.

i.e 6 sqmm conductor what is the current.(amp)

You got to read and memorised it like, I do during, my 1st year of electrical work in a steel mill. We need to memorised all the cable sizes and it's current carry capacity.

The answer is still, British Standard 7671.

multiply by 2.2, and it's about there.

e.g 6 x 2.2 = 13.2, i think it should carry up to 20A

This is just a rough calculation if you're at site :)
