Research Proposal for Master's in Mechanical Engineering

Hello everyone, Does anybody here have any wonderful ideas that they think could be developed lucratively but don't have the time or resources to work on them? Please share. I will be starting my Masters in Mechanical Engineering in the fall and I am committed into getting a lot out of this program. It is a one year, thesis option and I have the choice of working on whatever I want as long as I can submit a research proposal and get it approved before classes begin. I would like to take full advantage of this opportunity by working on something that could be potentially lucrative. Please share your thoughts. It could be anything within the realm of Mechanical Engineering, as my interested are wide and varied and my talents the same.
