How to measure the thickness of a pressure tank for a water main. The required internal pressure of the tank is 10 bar and 1cubic meter capacity. Please advice. Thanks

Use an ultrasonic wall thickness monitor. You can also do ultrasonic testing on it.

There should be a test record from the vessel indemnity insurance company's engineer/surveyor in file in the General Register. Pressure vessels require insurance examination, and the average wall thickness will be indicated on the engineer/surveyor's report, together with any concerns that might impinge upon the vessel's pressure performance in the near-to-middle future.
