As I always say to the young ones= for any successful career
- Learn to learn.
- Read, search, and then ask (and not the other way round as is seen by todays young impatients)
- Do not limit yourself to mechanical engineering. (As an electrical engineer, I had to had my share of dipping in mechanical, metallurgy, welding, ...). The engineering streams can not be divorced, that's why the other stream a few of the credits are usually kept mandatory.
- Discuss thoroughly before change. Learn to believe your colleagues. Everybody do not steal ideas. remember the group discussions are to bring out weak links and not for personal criticism. After all they can make a fun if a weak link exist. And this provides the opportunity to plug it.
- In the end do not be scared of making mistakes (provided the above steps are followed)
And as per my personal experience, I learnt engineering after graduating. When in college, i learnt just for passing the exam. Then I had to re-read the books, and I am doing them even after some thirty years when some doubts arise. So read them now, if you have been through the grind and keep on.

It always happen hele like this
A thread starts (on a technical matter)

In addition, dont forget that engineers are supposed to solve EVERYTHING, soon or late. So, as stated before, learn to learn. Technology is quickly superceeded nowadays, and you must always be in conditions of reading, searching and learning about new gadgets to be able to put them in use.
Hye.. nice to meet u all in this place.. hope you all can share knowledge to improve mechanical engineer qualities to solve problem. Any suggestion also can be shared to me..
