Compressed Air Usage

If I have 2,000 lbs of compressed air and I'm blowing off 35 lbs How long will that 2,000 lbs last me? Hours and minutes Please. xangolenny@hotmail.com

Ahh, isn't it obvious? Are you unfamiliar with basic math? We would give you an answer to your simple question but you have neglected to mention the duration air is decreasing by 35 lbs. Per second, per minute, per hour?

Well as a rough guide with the information you have given........

3000/35 = 86 seconds.

This does not take into account pressure differences as the air storage vessel empties.

Can you please provide more information (what is the application) as this sounds like a homework question to me.

Do you have, "2,000 lbs of compressed air", or 2,000 psig in a tank?

Do you have any makeup air?

What is the size of the reservoir?

At what flowrate is the air being blown off?
