About 2 years ago there was a medical (or general human body) series on either the Discovery Channel or the Learning Channel. I think it was about 6-8 episodes long. I have done some Google searching and Discovery Channel web site searching and I don't think I have been able to find it. The key episode that I am interested in is the one on the immune system.
The series, and especially the immune system show had GREAT GRAPHICS that not only looked good but also made it very easy to learn. The various mechanisms (mast celsl? T cells? etc.) were shown inside the body as they "did their thing". Allergic reactions were shown very well.
The only thing I can think of that will help identify this show from others is the "story line" that they used with the immune system graphics. If I recall correctly a guy took his girlfriend to either a picnic or the beach. She got stung by a bee and had an allergic reaction. By the time he got her to the hospital she was going into anaphylactic shock. The graphics went all the way from normal to reaction to shock and back to normal after she got epinephrine at the hospital.
I know this isn't exactly an engineering question. But, in the past there have been several times when it was obvious that several CR4'ers have Discovery Channel libraries at home.
Thanks from a fire ant hating engineer,
Bruce
