Combustion Tests for Natural Gas Boilers

Can you tell me step-by-step how to perform combustion tests on a natural gas boiler ?

The colour and shape of the flame will give you a basic idea to tell you if you are in the right ball park... it's probably what they did before they had gas analysers.
Think back to your chemistry lessons with a bunsen burner.
This is no substitute for doing it properly...

Without a Combustion Analyzer you cannot do it. Better you call people who do this on visit/ contract basis.
