Venturi Injectors and Suction Calculations

Dear Sir,

we are going to use a venturi injector to inject ozone gas into water.How to calculate the suction of the venturi say for example the pipe diameter of upstream venturi is 7.4cm,Diameter of ventury neck is 3.05cm,fluid density is 1kg/m3.

The maximum suction will be determined by the temperature of the water. Look up its boiling pressure in Steam Tables.

Check the venturi curve. There should be a formula on the curve or the catalog that will enable you to work out the details as well.
