Garage Concrete Crack

I will attempt to help, but I need some help understanding.

We having problems cracks in all directions cause by installation of garage floor drainage.

This not a new floor, but a new drain has been installed?

In my understanding the contractor must drill hole to uncure concrete.

Curing in English for concrete actually means 'getting hard', this cannot be what you mean since one cannot get unhard again. Do you mean the contractor must drill holes to stop the cracks?

"Underneath there is a v joint that is purposely in place for this".

Perhaps there is a communication problem with the contractor, many times concrete is intentionally weakened along a line so that when it cracks it will be along the line.

This would not be the same as cracks "everywhere", this should be a single crack across areas greater than 4 to 8 feet depending on whether commercial or residential and the actual application.

So what the contractor is saying is he has put a "v" joint in the concrete for the purpose of guiding cracks.

If I understand you instead have cracks all over?

This is brand new house not even finished yet, I was requesting drain to install in my garage floor. I suspect that after concrete was done, they where cutting centre of the floor to install drainage. The cracks are leading all way horizontally and vertically through whole garage floor which is size 20x23 feet.

Take photos, and call the contractor.

Then time for the lawyers.

Might have another contractor's opinion.

The only way I can think this might be OK is if they are surface cracks. If they are deep the concrete needs to come out and be replaced.

Plus I have to say, pouring the concrete and then cutting in the drain is a bit unusual.

planning to bring the other contractor to see it. I just can't believe that somebody will do such a poor job in the house which is worth half a milion.
