Water Cooled Motors vs. Forced Water Cooled Motors

06/08/2009 9:03 AM

Can any one please explain the difference between water cooled motors and force water cooled motors.Normally I have seen water cooled machines do have a pump to force the water through the heat exchanger.recently I have come across this term foce water cooled.I am unable to comprehend what it is and in what way it differs from normal water cooled machines.

It could be a simple marketing or technical miscommunication (ie- both mean the same thing), or the forced water cooling motor could have a separate system for pushing the water thru the heat exchanger.

What's the application?

4500kW is a 'king big motor!

Should that be 4500W?
