Pitot Tube Calibration Services

Sorry I cannot help you, but... I once needed to do such calibration. I used a flow test stand to install the pitots and have a calibration for them. Of course, it was a controlled environment. Maybe you could do the same (DIY) in case of need and if you have other flow measurements available. Just to clarify to others here: what fluid, pressure and temperature do you need them calibrated, and what would be the pitots size? Are they standard units? If so, as far as I remember, the standard would give you the indications of how using it as a fluid speed measurement.

Why not to make a vertical water manometer that can be calibrated in house,further this can be used to calibrate Pitot tube+gauge(I am not clear what can be calibrated in only Pitot tube?).

The pressure exerted by the "static streamline" is ¹/₂ multiplied by the air density (which varies according to height - use the "standard atmosphere" and local weather conditions) and the square of the velocity.

The displacement in a manometer attached to a pitot tube is given by the above pressure being equal to the density of the manometer fluid multiplied by the vertical displacement of that fluid multiplied by the acceleration due to gravity.

The above can be done on the bench.

Whatever you do avoid to consult 'Air France' on this issue!
