Automotive Transmission Designs

Dear All

We are a company situated in India .Currently we are into synchronizer manufacturing and we are looking for a joint venture to start designing & manufacturing of synchropack( gear cone , hub , sleeve , synchronizer ring).Please suggest us some good experienced companies doing it.

Also suggest some good books on transmission design.

I wish you all the success in the world with your synchronizer business.

There is a waiting market for your syncros if they are truly strong and reliable.

Fire pumps. Current American fire pump designs all use a sliding gear with no synchronizers. NONE. The manufacturers claim that synchronizers are not reliable enough for the fire service. Bull. Go sell them your products. Hale, Waterous, and Darley are the big names in the fire pump manufacturing business in the U.S. Good luck.
