can we use orifice plate in the flow line, which has reynolds number greater than or equal to 4000. ie is if flow is turbulent?

Pls help me in this issue?

Yes, of course. An orifice is simply a fitting in the pipe.

For what purpose is the orifice being installed, BTW?
