It depends upon the resistance of the circuit cables and the characteristics of the circuit protective device.

In India, as elsewhere, the maximum size is aprox. 93B Light Years (The estimated length of the universe) and the minimum size is the Plank constant (h) or 6.626 068 96(33) × 10−34 Js
