Three Way Vale and 220-VAC

07/09/2009 6:15 AM

Hi there

Could anyone help me out there to find a three way valve that will allow the water to flow in one direction when OFF and other direction when ON using a 220VAc? Please let me know where to get it here in South Africa.

Best Regards.

Nganpet

Re: 4 to 5 inch valve three way 220VAc in South Africa

Contact a local valves distributor directly. The distributor will want to know about line size, wetted materials, valve type, etc.

5 inch is not a regular line size. Try 6-inch instead.

you can accomplish the same effect with two valves an over sized actuator, two custom made couplers, and the proper piping sequence. Plus you wont have to deal with the leaking three way valve(havent had much luck with three way valves). Switched out everyone in the plant with this method. Cut back on a ton of work orders.

Hi there,

In SA try Tyco Valves: http://www.tycovalves.com

They will also help you source the valve if they are not a supplier of a specific make.

Cheers
