how to increase or dcerase reactive power of generator?

Reactive power is determined by the load unless we are discussing a generator which is operating in parallel with other generators.

If this is a parallel network, then the load determines the fixed reactive load and the excitation of the generators determine the distribution of the reactive load.

The reactive load can also be changed by adding capacitors or inductors to the circuit to tune out the reactance of the load.
