Hire a qualified electrician and let that individual do the task.

I absolutely agree with PWslack. Opening and measuring voltage and loads in energized DB, MSDB, etc. is to be done by a Qualified Electrician. The Qualified Electrician will have the correct personal protective equipment, voltage-rated tools and rated meters. I have a picture above my desk of the remains of a 13.8 kv cabinet where two engineers tried to take a voltage reading with a 1kv rated meter, the cabinet survived they did not.

1st of all, are you a qualified Electrician or qualified Electrical Engineer?. If not, please hire or get help form the qualified Electrical tester to do the test for you. It is too dangerous to do the live test if you don't understand the safety procedure of how to do the live test on line.

CR4 is a place to help other member to solve electrical problem and not a place to give idea to how to do live test on electrical apparatus.

If we tell you what to do and how to do it, it will be our responsible if anything goes wrong that involve the life of the people.

Thanks for your suggestion, I'm a qualified and experience electrical engineer. Now a days I'm working on a newly underconstruction showroom. I'm working as an electrical inspector so I've to check and certify the work done by contractor. Now contractor has submitted some fulish things as method statement which is not clear. Even I searched it on the internet, but I could not succeed.

kindly provide me a good method statement, based on which I can check and perform the live test, in presence of contractor and experienced electricians.
