what is the meaning of "slug rivet"?

so,what is the meaning of that? there are so many types of riveting and i am confused about that. any link i can reference to?

A slug rivet has no manufactured head. Head are formed by the machine that applies them. Solid round stock or tube that the rivet tool mushrooms both ends in fastening.
